Christmas gift to myself!!!!

Just wanted to share my new gift with everyone.  I love buying Joye Hinton's handpainted china.  I found her work on ebay a few years ago and have been buying her china for awhile now.  This time I wanted pink poinsettias for the holidays and this is what she came up with.
Merry Christmas to me!!!!!!
(Thank you Joye XXOO)

Pink poinsettias

I love pink.
At Christmas time it is difficult to find pink poinsettias for cards so I decided to make my own this year.
I used a lily punch from Punch Bunch.
The layers were: cardstock and velum(I think that is how you spell it?)
The first two layers were with a large leaf and the last were smaller to give it dimension.
I coated the leaves with clear and gold glitter and the centers were with gold beads and glitter.
This is what I started with:

I took an embossing tool and marked down the center of the leaves to give it a "vein" look.

First layer:

Second layer with the larger leaf

Third layer with a smaller size leaf
Final layer

I then created the centers and added glitter
gold accents

Clear accents
This is what I ended up with for my card.
I will post the card listing soon.

Pink ornaments for the living room

I wanted victorian ornaments with roses in my living room.  I decided to create my own with punched flowers from my craft room.
I really liked how they turned out.

This is what I started with.

The roses have 5 layers that you form and shape.  I covered them with glitter to add some holiday shine.
The small flowers have a pink bead in the middle.
Most of the greenery was punched from cardstock, the fern was punched from metallic paper.

Finished product.

I made four of these and hung them over the mantel.
