Vintage holiday card 2013

Vintage cards are my favorite!
I cannot seem to design cards without flowers but this one got through!  :)
Snowflakes are winters flowers - right?  Lol
I used a vintage image and distreesed it with die stress inks from the Tim Holtz line  the snowflakes are embellished with Prima flower centers.
I wanted a flat card so I could mail these so the inside is just stamped with a Seasons Greeting stamp.
Both stamps were stamped with the distress ink used on the edges of the card.  Vintage photo.
Enjoy!

Vintage ice skater card colored with Tim Holtz markers

My latest creation.
I love the vintage look of this stamp and had to create something with it.
Distress inks really softened the look and I added the circle snowflake die from Joy.  The punches are
from Punch Bunch and I used Spellbinders frame dies for the card.

Raggedy Ann quilled card!!!

I tried my hand at quilling.  It has been awhile since I have done it but wanted a Raggedy Ann embellishment to use with this paper.  Since I couldn't find one, I made one.  :)
I don't have the patience to sew the card so I "drew" my stitch marks on the card.  Guess it is a matter of what we are willing to spend our time on!
Inside the card.

The envelope box I "quilted"  LOL

Graphic 45 baby boy card

Graphic 45 Little Darling paper is so sweet.  I can sit and create for hours without having to stop.
I created this card for our Vice Principle at school who's wife just had a new baby boy.
I fussy cut around some of the images, used Melissa Frances frame and Recollection flowers for embellishments.  The ribbon came from Etsy and the die cuts are Spellbinders and Marianne dies.
I used the front page of the pad for the front of the envelope box and a coordinating base.  I will hand it too him so I didn't need to worry about mailing it.

Graphic 45 Garden Album

Graphic 45 paper scrapbook for a dear friend.
I just love the Secret Garden papers from Graphic 45.  I wanted to create a memory book for a friend and these papers were just perfect.  I hand-made all the flowers and used the spellbinders nestabilities to help with the matting for the pictures.  I used liquid pearls for accents and Cheery Lynn flourish for the pages.
I hope this album gives you ideas and enjoyment. :)

First page of the book.

2nd page.  A photo can be slipped under the band to help with size.
3rd page.
I embossed some lavender paper and sanded it lightly of the top.
Inside the pocket are places to add writing or pictures.

I thought the embossing plate looked like a basket weave.
page 7
I used the spellbinder rose die cuts with this paper.  Martha Stewart butterfly punches were also used throughout the album.

back cover
I decided to mod podge the back as it would wear better with time.

Felted Ladies!!!!

I just received these wool felted ladies from a shop on Etsy.  I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them online!  I would love to learn how to create them but realize time and supplies may cost more than just letting someone else create them for me.  I am so glad I didn't put them on my "I can do this" list. :)

Saturated Canary pink card

This is one of my favorite cards so far!  I used distress inks to color the Saturated Canary stamp and Recollection papers.  I found the pink ribbon at Wal-Mart and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The oval is a Spellbinders die and the boarder lace is from Magnolia dies.

Tim Holtz clock card

This card was a lot of fun to make.  I wish the rich colors would show, I think I need a new camera! :)
I used the Bo Bunny papers, Tim Holtz die, Spellbinders flowers with glimmer mist, Cherry Lynn leaf die and Tim Holtz metal embellishment.

My flowers

Just a few of my flowers from my garden.
