What to do on a Sunday?

Sit in front of the fire

Sing

Snuggle
:)

My son, Alan, plays the classical piano.  I love to sit and listen to him.
My red-headed daughter, Rachel, isn't far from Kitty.  I think Kitty has seen better days!
Sometimes she even sneeks it to school in her backpack.  Sigh! :)

Vintage Christmas card #2

I love the vintage look and just had to create another one this week!

Stamp:  Lili of the Valley
( I love their christmas stamps!)
Paper:  Graphic 45
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts
Pin: Joanna Johnson from ETSY
Pearls and lace:  Prima

Lili of the valley has a great selection of cute girl stamps.  Everytime I look, I buy!!
When I saw this stamp on their blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
Here it is!  My Vintage take on the stamp.
(More Lili of the valley cards to come!!  :)

Pink Christmas tree card

My attempt to create a pink Christmas card.  I thought the glitter was white until it dried:(
Not my favorite card but it still turned out ok
Stamp:  Tilda from Magnolia stamps
Paper: Holly Jolly from Paper Studio
Die:  Marianne Tree, Magnolia Fence
Stamp:  McGill snowflake

I thought the trees would look better with snow on them but didn't realize the glitter would go clear on me!  Still, I like the bling factor!:)

Close up of Tilda.  I added sparkles to the tree and to the fur on her coat and hat.  Can't really see it too well with the camera.

Tilda with poinsetta basket card

Menu:
Magnolia Tilda stamp
Magnolia paper and Gold glitter paper from JoAnn fabrics
Cardinal button and Noel button from Micheals
Poinsettia is Prima that I added gold mini beads to the center
Snowflake punch is Whimsy and Memory box dies
McGill punches

Inside the card is a removable tag that you can write on the back.
It is hard to see how glittery the gold paper is but it really adds sparkle to the card.
First time I have used distress inks to color a image.

Envelope box

This is one of the many cards I need to get ready for the Holiday's.
Nothing like waiting till the last moment!!!
