working with distress inks

I recently purchased Tim Holtz distress inks.  Here are my first attempts.
Harder than I thought to work with.  Love my Copic markers but fun to try new techniques.
We spent our Thanksgiving at camp so I had some free time to play.
New Lili of the Valley stamps as well. :)
My daughter took this one as a bookmarker.  Guess that is the ultimate complement from a teenager!!:)
Not quite done, need to add pearls and glitter.  I need to finish with the face.  Sure didn't come out like I wanted.  Hopefully it will all look ok when I get the card finished.

Hopefully the cards won't take to long to make.
To be continued!!!  :)

  1. Great job Lisa your first take on the distress markers. I got the same box as you and I'm still trying to get a better result with this markers. I use them now with a water brush and first i put the ink on my acrylic stamp block. Thanks for stopping by!
